Progress!

Doesn't it feel good to take a break to lay out ur project just to marvel in progress?  I'm happy I stuck with this one.  My Mom will be my guide as I crochet it together.

It's Debbie Bliss's Mia pattern.  I used her cotton angora in color 15511.

K2, P2 forever...

I loved the look of this sweater and knew I would wear it so I ignored the red flags in my head...the ones that told me the ribbing would get boring.  Oops.  5 years later it's still not done.

A Purse for Momma

My Mom came over to clean out our garage fidge the other day.  See, we somehow let mold take over in it (don't ask) and she, being the angel of a Mom that she is, scrubbed & scrubbed.  So, when she said she needed a new purse for her Palm Springs trip the least I could do was make her one.  I got the better end of that deal.

Well hello there

I'm Susie.  Welcome to my blog.  Thanks for stopping by.

I like action packed adventures with fiber.  Not the soluable kind...the make stuff kind.  :)
